CORNWALL, P.E.I. - The Holland Hurricanes are ready for two Wednesday night games at the Terry Fox Sports Complex in Cornwall this week when they host the Crandall University Chargers at 6 and 8 p.m. (women/men).

The women’s Hurricanes enter the game with a 3-3-2 record and currently sit in third place in the ACAA standings while the Chargers are 3-5-0 and just two points back of the ‘Canes in a tie for fifth place.

This is the second time these teams have met this season with the Chargers taking the victory on Sept. 10 in Moncton, 2-1.

The men’s Hurricanes have been perfect in 2017 with a record of 8-0-0 as they lead the conference standings.  The Chargers have also had a strong season, sitting in third place at 4-3-1.

On Sept. 10 in Moncton, the ‘Canes came out on top 4-1 in the only meeting this season between the two teams.

Wednesday night’s games will feature giveaways from Keep It Social as well as a competition among all Hurricanes teams with prizes awarded to the varsity team with the highest attendance.

The Hurricanes will be back in action at home on Sunday when they host the Dal AC Rams; the Rams are 5-1-2 (first place, women) and 1-7-0 (seventh place, men) this season. Both the men’s and women’s Hurricanes have played the Rams once on the road this season each picking up victories.
