QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – Josh Myers of Belmont Lot 16 will play college baseball in the United States, starting in the fall of 2018.
The SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves, who are based out of Queensbury, N.Y., have announced the signing of Myers out of Three Oaks Senior High School in Summerside. SUNY Adirondack is a school in Region 3 of the National Collegiate Junior Athletic Association (NCJAA) Conference.
Myers, a six-foot-four and 190-pound right-handed pitcher, also plays infield and is a left-handed batter.
“I will do anything it takes to get the win,” said Myers in a Timberwolves’ media release. “I work very hard on the field, in the weight room and most importantly in the classroom.”
Myers played with P.E.I.’s 2017 Canada Games baseball team, the 2016 P.E.I. Youth Selects along and the 2018 18-under midget all-stars. He also has experience playing on several provincial and Atlantic championship teams.
