CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Interlocking play marks today’s game in the Island Junior Hockey League (IJHL) as the A&S Scrap Metal Metros hit the mainland for a tussle with the New Brunswick Junior League’s Kent Koyotes.
Game time is 8:15 p.m. in Cocagne, N.B.
The Metros (11-9-1) sit in second in the IJHL and beat Kent 6-4 in the teams’ only meeting this season.
Tanner Lund of the Metros leads the league is scoring with 39 points on 19 goals and 20 assists, while goalie Alex Kelly (8-3) is third in the IJHL in goals-against average (3.62) and save percentage (.905).
