Prince County Warriors

The Warriors will host the first-place Eastern Express at the O’Leary Community Sports Centre on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Going into Thursday’s play, the Warriors were in a second-place tie with the Mid-Isle Matrix in the P.E.I. Major Bantam AAA Hockey League. The two teams will begin a best-of-five semifinal series next week, with the second-place squad receiving home-ice advantage.
Each team has two games remaining, with the Warriors closing out the regular season in Charlottetown against the Central Attack on Saturday. The Matrix visits the Express on Thursday, and hosts EDZA North in an interlocking game with the New Brunswick Major Bantam AAA Hockey League in Cornwall on Saturday.

Shutout
The Warriors are coming off a big 3-0 victory over the Matrix in Kensington on Tuesday night. Prince County goaltender Chad Arsenault turned in an outstanding 41-save performance in recording his third shutout of the regular season.
The Warriors are 9-2-1 (won-lost-tied) in their last 12 regular-season games, and are hoping for a strong finish this weekend.
