MONCTON, N.B. – The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers are looking to get back on track.
The Vipers will look to snap a six-game losing streak against the Island Junior Hockey League-leading Sherwood-Parkdale Metros on Sunday. The opening faceoff at Community Gardens is set for 7 p.m.
The Vipers are 0-4-2 (won-lost-overtime losses) in November, and will be looking to avenge a 12-5 road loss to the Metros on Wednesday.
The Vipers and arch-rival Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings are now tied for second place with identical 4-5-2 records. Sherwood-Parkdale is 8-4-1.

Moncton game
Kensington’s latest loss was a 2-1 road decision in an interlocking game with the Moncton Vitos of the New Brunswick Junior Hockey League on Thursday night.
Samuel Ingersoil’s goal at 14:07 of the third period broke a 1-1 tie at the Superior Propane Centre.
The teams played a scoreless first period, and entered the second intermission tied 1-1.
Jeremy LeBlanc’s unassisted goal at 15:54 of the middle frame gave the Vitos a 1-0 lead, but the Vipers’ Jacob Stewart set up Logan Vandervelden with the game-tying goal at 18:20.
Overall, the Vitos outshot the Vipers 47-35. Julien Landry earned the goaltending win, and Cameron Visser was between the pipes for Kensington.
