KENSINGTON – Captain Kevin McGraw earned three assists to lead the Cap-Pelé Predators to a 4-2 victory over the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers on Sunday afternoon.
The game was part of an interlocking schedule between the Island Junior Hockey League and New Brunswick Junior Hockey League.

Balanced attack
At Community Gardens, four different players – Simon Savoie Vienneau, Yannick Jacob, Marc Doiron and Alexi Guitard – scored for the Predators. Cedric Cormier and Kyle Fuze added single helpers.

Logan Vandervelden and Riley Gallant answered for the Vipers, who dropped to 9-10-3 (won-lost-overtime losses). Parker Ronahan (2), Keegan Buchanan and Campbell Gallant contributed helpers.
There was no scoring in the first period, and the Predators took a 2-1 advantage into the final 20 minutes.
Mathieu Landry earned the goaltending win over Cameron Visser. Overall, Cap-Pelé outshot Kensington 46-31.
