AMHERST, N.S. – Amherst Ramblers forward Hunter McIntyre of Kilmuir was named the first star of Saturday night’s MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League) game at the Amherst Stadium.
McIntyre scored two goals, including an unassisted short-handed effort, to help the Amherst Ramblers to a 6-2 victory over the Valley Wildcats.
Dawson Grenier of Souris earned an assist on McIntyre’s second goal, an even-strength tally that closed out the scoring at 17:07 of the middle frame.
