BOISBRIAND, Que. – Defenceman Noah Dobson played a key role in the Acadie-Bathurst Titan tying up the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League championship series.

The Summerside native opened the scoring – and it proved to be the game-winning goal – as the Titan blanked the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 4-0 on Saturday night. The best-of-seven final is now tied 1-1, with Games 3 and 4 scheduled for Bathurst, N.B., on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Dobson, who was set up by Samuel Asselin and Jeffrey Truchon-Viel, scored 3:30 into the second period, and the Titan took a 1-0 advantage into the final frame.
Antoine Morand (2) and Ethan Crossman also dented the twine for the Titan, who received a 27-save shutout from Evan Fitzpatrick.

The Armada won Game 1 on Friday night 4-1.
