Casey Fox scored twice Sunday as the Fredericton Caps defeated the Charlottetown Robin’s Donut Islanders 5-1 in New Brunswick/Prince Edward Island Major Midget Hockey League action.

Nick Hodd, Zack Spencer and Denis Toner also scored in the win at MacLauchlan Arena.

Cale Pierce from Tyler Gallant and Noah Stewart replied for Charlottetown.

Jack Ryan picked up the win while Cam Duffy took the loss.

Fredericton led 1-0 after the first period and the game was tied 1-1 heading to the third.

Fredericton improved to 11-8-6 while Charlottetown is in the league basement with an 0-25-2 record.
