Irish-born backs face off as Canada and U.S. bid for Rugby World Cup berth
Rugby took fly half Shane O'Leary from his native Ireland to France. Thanks to his mother's New Brunswick roots, it has brought him to Canada.
NEW GLASGOW, P.E.I. – Steve MacIsaac shot a 74 to top the field at the recent Experience Hyundai Men’s Senior Spring Golf Tour event at Glasgow Hills Golf Club.
Steve Ball finished second in the senior division with a 75, while George Stewart, Gary Moore and Randy Bernard all shot 78 and tied for third.
Marty Koughan, winner of the first four events, shot an 82.
In the super senior division, Roger Perreaux shot a 75 beating Mike McCarville by three strokes (78) and Bobby McGee (80) by five shots.
Alan Montgomery had a hole-in-one on the 157-yard, 15th hole.
The next stop is Monday, June 26, at Stanhope Golf Club.
