SLEMON PARK, P.E.I. – The Georgetown Clory Construction Eagles hope history repeats itself when the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League squad goes for its second road win today versus the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch in Slemon Park.
The expansion Eagles (1-21-1) earned its only win against the Crunch in Slemon Park back in November. Since then Georgetown is 0-16 and mired in last place.
Meanwhile, Summerside (9-13-1) is in fifth place in the six-team circuit and is aiming to win the second game of a two-game, home-and-home set. Summerside won 6-3 on Tuesday.
Tanner Jamieson leads the Crunch with 19 goals and 35 points, while Dawson McCarthy tops the Eagles scoring roll with 13 points.
Connor Gallant leads the Crunch with four goaltending wins. Lucas Cann (1-7) has the Eagles win in goal.
