Pappy Go Go is now one race away from the history books after demolishing his rivals in the Maritime Breeder's Final Saturday night at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The Marc Campbell-trained and driven trotter defeated his seven foes in the $7,750 Buddy Campbell Memorial Maritime Breeder's three-year-old trot final presented by Meridian Farms with first over tactics in a 2:00.1 mile for owner Grayland Farm of Pugwash, N.S. Miss Neala Ridge laid down the early fractions making front from post 4 for trainer-driver Clare MacDonald with splits of 30.1, 1:00.2 and 1:30.1 but it was not enough to fend off the first-over advance from Pappy Go Go, who continues his perfect season of 12 wins from as many starts. Miss Neala Ridge hung on for second with Wicked Nick (driven by Gary Chappell) grabbing the show dough.

Windemeredontuworry was a winner in the $7,000 two-year-old trot Maritime Breeder's Final as he looks to complete the Atlantic Triple Crown for his division. The son of Ambro Barrister had all ready won the Atlantic Breeder's Crown earlier this month and just has the Island Breeder's final scheduled for Oct. 28 left on his dance card. Gilles Barrieau steered the son of Armbro Barrister off the front end to a 2:01.2 win over race favorite Buckaroo (Campbell) with Oceanview Tadpole (Chappell) finishing third. It was one of three victories on the card for Barrieau, who also won with Woodmere Soul in 1:58.1 for trainer Jackie Matheson of Stratford and Four Brass Starz in 1:59.1 for Nick MacGillivray of Stratford.

Good Luck Kathy converted a pocket ride into victory in the $2,250 Open Mares Pace for driver Jason Hughes, conditioner Jennifer Trainor and owner Danny Birt of Stratford. Time of the mile was 1:56.1 in a tie for the fastest trip of the night.

Rose Run Quest continued his roll as he once again captured the $2,400 preferred pace for trainer-driver Campbell and owner Blair Hansen of Charlottetown. The five-year-old son of If I Can Dream recorded a 1:57.1 win time over Forever Paradise (Ken Murphy) and Junebugs Baby (Myles Heffernan).

Czar Seelster is still undefeated on red soil for trainer-driver Gregory Weatherbee and owner Tammy Johnston of Stratford. Weatherbee guided the eight-year-old son of Stonebridge Regal to a 1:56.1 conquest in his $1,600 event for his second win in as many starts on P.E.I. Adam Merner had two wins on the program.
