STRATFORD, P.E.I. – Corey Dougay had a three-run home run to right field to power The Alley Stratford Athletics to a 6-3 victory over the Northside Brewers Sunday in Kings County Baseball League action.

Dan O'Shea went the distance for the complete game victory while striking out eight. Tyson Blue, who also threw a complete game, was tagged with the loss.

Dougay’s home run came in the bottom of the third inning and pushed the A's lead to 4-0.

Jonny Arsenault snuffed out a Brewers rally with a key defensive play as the host Athletics were clinging to a 1-0 lead. With a runner on first, Will Jadis’ bunt went up in the air and almost got by a charging Arsenault from third. Arsenault was able to reach back and snagged the ball, regroup, after falling to the ground, and threw to first for a double play.

Shawn MacDougall had two hits as well for Stratford while Jayden McLean added a pair for Northside.
