CHARLOTTETOWN – Two members of the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces swept the players-of-the-week awards in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League.
Dawson Sellick took the offensive honour while Drake Smallman was recognized as the top defensive performer.
Sellick, a first-year junior player, is making his presence known and is climbing up the scoring race. Sellick works hard in both ends of the rink, and played a big part in the Aces’ two victories last week.
Sellick had three points against the Summerside Cover-All Construction Crunch, and another two against the Sherwood-Parkdale Metros.
Smallman is another first-year junior C player, who has provided steady play on the blue-line.
Smallman contributed two goals and two assists offensively in helping the Aces to a successful week.
