STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS
Every day as I walk around Charlottetown, I see so many things that the Charlottetown police officers could address that it's baffling:
Jaywalking . . . it's illegal.
Hungry and homeless people on the street . . . panhandling, also illegal. People trust the kindness of strangers to feed and cloth them. It's past time for the cops to get out of their cars and help them. That is their job, after all.
Get rid of parking meters. Why should we pay for spending money downtown when the malls have free parking?
