I was born and raised on P.E.I. One of the basic lessons my parent's instilled in me was to love, honor, respect, and care for our seniors.

The horror and disgust I felt after reading the article about the elderly couple who have been vacationing on P.E.I. for more than 30 years and discovered, after arriving to P.E.I., the rate had increased $3,000, without notification, goes beyond greed. It is wrong.

A 90-year-old gentleman and his 86-year-old wife. Imagine. Why were they not informed of the price increase?

The new owner and the previous owner of these cottage rentals should be hanging their heads. Shame on all of you.
