At the Garden Home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 of Kathern “Joan” Burke (nee Whitlock), Charlottetown, age 84 years. Beloved wife of Richard. Dear mother of Sharlene, Karen, Lorna, William, Tanya and Ronald. Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Sister of Florence Gushie. Loving friend of the Van der Kaay family. Remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Harold Wendell and Mary Margaret (Doyle) Whitlock and siblings Wendell Whitlock and Marjorie Stewart. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on THURSDAY, APRIL 26, 2018 at 1 p.m. No visitation by request.
