Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Friday, May 25, 2018 of Gordon Edison MacDonald, husband of Catherine “Kay” (McMillan, deceased), of Stratford, age 82 years. Dear father of Margaret Ladner (Gord), Barry (Ann), Wendy Stanhope (Brian), Lorrie Cudmore (Carl) and Shelley MacLean (Robert). Father-in-law of Kim Moore. Loving grandfather of Adam (Veronica), Amanda, Crystal (Mitch), Justin, Jarred, Ryan, Lucas, Daniel (Emma), Darcy (Grace), Cody (Laura), Katelyn (Pat) and Bethany. Great-grandfather of Brett, Maverick, Vienna and Kyle. Brother of Alvin, Shirley, Fran and Heather. Remembered by special friend Janet Phelan. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Jemima (Wight) MacDonald, son Gary, grandson Kevin, and siblings Viola and Wilfred. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment in St. John’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Belfast.
