Summerside man pleads guilty to assault

SUMMERSIDE – A Summerside man has pleaded guilty to two counts of assault.

Jessie Lee Pothier, 33, appeared in Summerside Provincial Court Thursday to answer to charges regardingthe Feb. 13 incident.

He was sentenced to 60 days intermittent imprisonment for the first count and three days concurrent for the second count.

He will serve 24 months probation and must pay a $200 victim surcharge. He must also submit his DNA.
