Parking restrictions on Tuesday night in Charlottetown for snow cleanup

Meters are all lined up in the snow with no one to feed them as snow clearing operations for parking spaces took a back seat to snow removal on main streets this morning.

The City of Charlottetown's public works department expects to be de-icing and/or clearing and hauling snow in the city Tuesday night.

Motorists are advised that the overnight winter parking restrictions will be enforced between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday throughout the city at the discretion of Charlottetown Police Services.

Anyone parking on city streets overnight risks being ticketed and/or towed.
