Police stopped the machine near Philip Street.

In reporting the charge, RCMP issued a reminder that it is illegal to operate any off-highway vehicles on any portion of a road or highway. “Operating an ATV or any other all terrain vehicle on the road is dangerous to public safety and the safety of the driver,” RCMP advised.

Police requested anyone with information regarding ATVs operating on public roads to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
