One incident had Charlottetown Police Services called to a residence on Lilac Avenue.

A man who said he lived there was trying to get in, but the occupant did not want him there.

The suspect was uncooperative during the incident, so police took him to jail to sober up. He is now charged with disturbing the peace and will appear in court at a later date.

Also on Sunday, Charlottetown Police responded to a report of damage to property at an apartment on North River Road.

Photographs were taken at the scene, and examination of them helped identity the person responsible for the damage. Charges will be forthcoming, said a police report.

In the final reportable incident Sunday, a call came in about an impaired driver on Capital Drive.

He was found and provided breath samples allegedly over the limit for blood alcohol.

The driver, a 54-year-old New Argyle man, was released from custody and will appear in Provincial Court on June 26.
