Charlottetown police arrest Tyne Valley man for armed robberies

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit arrested a 20-year- old Tyne Valley resident Thursday for two armed robberies.

Police said both robberies involve the Fugal Smoke Shop on Kensington Road in Charlottetown Sept. 22, 2014 and Nov. 29 of this year. He was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon, was jailed and will be appearing in Provincial Court at a later date.
