Charlottetown man fined for theft, other charges

A P.E.I. man who stole from a Canadian Tire store was fined $900 recently for several charges.

Kyle Clinton Crane, 22, appeared before Chief Judge Nancy Orr in provincial court in Charlottetown for sentencing after preciously pleading guilty to the theft, breaching his probation and failing to attend court.

Before heading his sentence, Crane paid $96.97 in restitution.

Along with fines, Crane must also pay $270 in victim surcharges.
