A man has been displaced following a housefire Wednesday afternoon near Kingston, a few kilometres west of Charlottetown.

Disaster volunteers with the Canadian Red Cross have assisted the man with emergency lodging, food and clothing.  

The blaze on Linwood Road was reported shortly after 4 p.m. on Aug. 15.
