Nominations open for Order of Prince Edward Island

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The Order of Prince Edward Island Advisory Council is receiving nominations for the 2017 awards.

All submissions must be received no later than 5 p.m. on March 31.

The Order of Prince Edward Island is the highest honour the province can bestow.

“The Order of Prince Edward Island was established in 1996 to recognize the Island’s most outstanding citizens,” says advisory board chairman Charles Curley. “Since its inception, 70 Islanders have been awarded the medal and inducted into the Order.” 

If you know of someone who has shown excellence or outstanding leadership in the community or in their chosen profession or occupation, this is the opportunity

to have them considered for this special honour.
