A transport truck driver escaped injury when his vehicle overturned in the Brackley Point Road roundabout at lunchtime Monday.
The single vehicle collision caused slight delays as police directed traffic and cleaned up scrap metal the truck had been carrying.
Cst. Ron Kennedy said the driver had no serious injuries from the collision.
“He was really shaken up like you would be after that sort of incident,” he said.
Kennedy said it was at least two hours by the time the truck was flipped back onto its wheels.
Police do not believe that speed or alcohol were factors in the collision.
“We’re looking right now at the possibility that there was a load shift.”
