Traffic is flowing smoothly again on the Confederation Bridge after heavy winds forced restrictions this morning.

The restricted classes included automobiles towing trailers, motorcycles and high-sided vehicles.

Those restrictions went into effect at 12:02 a.m. and were lifted around 8:30 a.m.

Environment Canada issued a warning with wind gusts of up to 90 km/h expected across P.E.I. this morning.

It has since lifted that wind warning.
