CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Ten locations across the province will see repaving and shoulder construction work completed to the tune of $1.3 million in joint federal and provincial funding.

The maintenance/capital project will include the rehabilitation of main arterial sections on the National Highway System and collector roads throughout P.E.I.

The project will ensure the structural strength, safety and efficiency of the road network, and extend the life of existing infrastructure.

The Government of Canada is providing $595,500, while the province is providing the remainder of the funding.
