CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The Confederation Centre of the Arts has announced its full casting of this year’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Lee Siegel will play Judas in his fifth time performing in a production of the musical, which included a run on Broadway in 2012.
It will be his first time performing at the Charlottetown Festival and he will join fellow newcomer Hailey Gillis who is playing Mary Magdalene.

Other leads include P.E.I.’s Aaron Hastelow as Jesus Christ, Greg Gale as Caiaphas, Cameron MacDuffee as King Herod and Edward Murphy as High Priest.
They join Brendan Wall as Pontius Pilate, Jacob MacInnis as Peter, Andew McAllister as Simon Zealotes and Tara Jackson as Annas.
Jesus Christ Superstar opens June 7 in the Homburg Theatre.
