The annual MS Walk is taking place Sunday in Charlottetown.
Starting at the HMCS Queen Charlotte at 3 p.m., funds raised from the walk will support research into the cause, treatment and cure of multiple sclerosis, as well as valuable services, programs and advocacy for Canadians with MS.
Across Atlantic Canada, about 2,000 people participate, which this year takes place in 13 communities. The family-oriented, community-supported event has wheelchair-accessible routes for those using mobility aids.
