As September begins the leaves will soon begin to fall and a changing palette of deciduous trees erupts in a blazing bloom.

Kool Breeze Farms Garden Centre in Summerside has already plucked several pumpkins and gourds from the nearby patch.

The colourful display in front of the store is getting people into the spirit of fall early.

Brittany Wagstaff, who was neatly arranging the vegetables recently, says several customers have been into the store to purchase a pumpkin.

“We have a field full, so we will be selling lots of (pumpkins). And a lot of people have been purchasing them so far,” she said.
