More than $20,000 awarded for P.E.I. health promotion projects

The P.E.I. French Health Network (PEIFHN) has announced that eight groups and organizations in Prince Edward Island will share over $20,000 to implement their projects in the upcoming year.

They include the following: Centre de la petite enfance L'Île enchantée; Le Conseil Rév. S-É. Perrey inc.: Maplewood Coffee Shop; Village des Sources l’Étoile filante; Cap enfants: What’s cooking?; RDÉE: Gardens for the future; Actions Femmes: Health and Wellness for women and girls; Comité des parents de l’École François-Buote: Cycling for health; La Coopérative d’intégration francophone de l’Î.-P.-É.: Count and recount: personal accounts in support of mental health. 

The proposed health promotion activities must be carried out by the end of March 2018. 

The PEI French Health Network is a non-profit organization that collaborates with various partners in order to improve access to quality French-language health services and programs for Prince Edward Island’s Acadian and Francophone population.
