MRSB Group has been named this year’s Best Place to Work in Atlantic Canada by Progress Magazine.

The six-division professional services company was one of 31 businesses honored at a recent award luncheon at the Westin Nova Scotian in Halifax. It is located at the corner of Queen and Grafton in Charlottetown and employs 47 people.

“We are so proud to receive this recognition of excellence from such a well-respected publication in our region,” says MRSB managing partner Shaun MacIsaac, who was the founding partner.

“We definitely couldn’t have achieved this honour without the hard work and support of our team, who truly make our office a dynamic and fun place to work.”

Other partners include Everett Roche, Terry Soloman, Michelle Burge and Lloyd Compton.

Winners of the annual event were determined through a two-phase process involving both an independent evaluation of each nominee’s workplace policies and practices, and a confidential employee survey to measure each employee’s individual experience.

Factors influencing MRSB’s top spot include its flexible summer work hours, monthly team meetings that encourage participation from all divisions, annual employee retreats, a comprehensive recruitment process, health and wellness initiatives and staff’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and volunteerism.
