Tim Hortons is getting set to officially unveil its newly redesigned University Avenue location in Charlottetown which has received a fresh new look.

The restaurant, located at 435 University Avenue, will celebrate the occasion on Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a ribbon cutting, cake, sampling and prize draws.

New and renovated Tim Hortons restaurants across the chain this year will incorporate the company’s new interior and exterior look and design which was introduced earlier last year.

Guests of the new Tim Hortons can expect more comfortable booth seating, warm pendant lighting and interior colour scheme, new wooden bakery displays, television and fire place. On the outside, the new location incorporates warmer natural materials such as stone, as well as gooseneck lighting and colourful awnings.

“We are thrilled to bring a fresh look to this location in Charlottetown and excited for our guests to experience the new Tim Hortons look,” said Danny Murphy, Tim Hortons Restaurant Owner.

Murphy, who also owns other Tim Hortons locations in Prince Edward Island, says that this restaurant will be open 24 hours and will feature a full menu including all of Tim Hortons products.
