Phil Gadoury scored three times Saturday to lead the Dalhousie Tigers to a 4-1 victory over the UPEI Panthers in Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey action.
In Halifax, Mike Evelyn’s goal 21 seconds into the third period was the winner. Gadoury scored a power-play goal in the second period and added third period goals at 5:58 and 18:14 (empty net).
Brock Beukeboom from Brent Andrews got UPEI on the board with 2:45 to play.
Corbin Boes stopped 45 shots for the win while Matt Mahalak made 15 saves in the loss.
Dalhousie improved to 5-11-3 while UPEI falls to 9-8-2.
