Quebec plays Sweden in semifinal play

P.E.I. Rocket forward Alexis Pépin leads Quebec into the semifinal tonight against Sweden at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Drummondville, Que.

Game time is 8:30 p.m. Atlantic.

Pépin has two goals and three assists in four games in the tournament. His five points are the most on the team.

Russia plays the United States in the other semifinal at 8:30 p.m. Atlantic in Victoriaville, Que.

The winners play in Friday’s final at 8:30 p.m. Atlantic in Victoriaville, Que.

Atlantic lost 8-2 to Finland Thursday to finish seventh.

Charlottetown native Kameron Kielly, who was Team Atlantic’s captain, scored his third goal of the tournament.

Tanner McCabe (East Royalty) and Michael White (Sherwood) are both defencemen with the team.
