BELFAST - Another sign that spring is here to stay has arrived.
Belfast Highland Greens, a nine-hold course in Eldon (36 kilometres east of Charlottetown) officially opens for the season on Friday.
Course pro Keir White says the course will be opening for the season, not just the weekend.
Thanks to the brutal winter, the course is opening later this year. Golfers were teeing off at Belfast last year on April 12.
White added, as of now, golf carts will be allowed on the course.
The forecast for opening day is cloudy with a high of 6 degrees Celsius.
