Island Storm travels to Windsor for NBL of Canada final

Game 1 to take place April 4 at Windsor Family Credit Union in Ontario

The Island Storm will meet the Windsor Express in the National Basketball League of Canada final.

The Express took seven games to beat the London Lightning in the Central Conference playoffs Tuesday night.

They host the Island Storm in Windsor for Game 1 Friday, April 4, at 8 p.m. and Game 2 on Sunday, April 6 at 8 p.m. All times are ADT.

The best-of-seven final will then move to Prince Edward Island for games 3, 4, and 5 which will be played on Wednesday, April 9, Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12. All games at Eastlink Centre will go at 7 p.m.

Tickets for games 3 through 5 will go on sale today at 11 a.m. at the Eastlink Centre Box Office.

Games 6 and 7 in the series are scheduled back in Windsor on Monday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 16.

The Storm is 1-1 against the Express this season, winning by 12 points at home and losing by four on the road in Windsor.
