A Charlottetown convenience store has posted a sign advising people wearing hooded sweatshirts to take their hoods down before entering the store. Do you think this is fair?

  • 89% Yes. Hoodies seem to be the disguise used during robberies lately and hopefully this will help deter would-be criminals.
  • 11% No. This isn't fair to customers, not everyone wearing a hoodie is a criminal.

Up to now VLTs could only be operated on Sundays at the Red Shores casinos in Charlottetown and Summerside. The decision has been made to lift the Sunday ban to level the playing field for licensed premises that have VLT machines. Do you agree with the decision?

The City of Charlottetown is thinking about fining people who feed foxes. Do you think this is fair?

  • 60% Yes. Obviously people aren't getting the message that feeding them is wrong.
  • 40% No. I think fining people is taking it too far.

P.E.I.'s only full-time pain specialist, Dr. Desmond Colohan, will be retiring on Aug. 19. What do you think should be done to replace him?

  • 50% There should be another full-time pain specialist hired to replace him.
  • 4% Bring a doctor in from Nova Scotia as a visiting specialist.
  • 46% Develop a network of primary pain clinics around the province using nurse practitioners.

Cavendish Farms says it is facing the same challenges that have caused McCain Foods to close its P.E.I. plant and unless the moratorium on deep-water wells is lifted its operations could also face an uncertain future. In light of this do you think the moratorium should be lifted?

  • 16% Yes. We can't take the chance of losing Cavendish Farms too.
  • 84% No. This is just another pressure tactic by Cavendish Farms to get government to lift the moratorium.

Do you think the province should ban cosmetic pesticides from areas accessed by children and seniors?

  • 24% No. An outright ban is not the answer. A lot of weeds and pests are worse than most sprays.
  • 19% Yes. It makes sense to have buffer zones around schools, seniors' complexes and hospitals, but not a blanket ban.

The RCMP has laid 31 counts of fraud, breach of trust and bribery against P.E.I. Senator Mike Duffy. What impact could these charges have on the outcome of the next federal election?

  • 21% No impact at all: What happens to Mike Duffy has no direct connection to Prime Minister Stephen Harper or the federal Conservatives.
  • 54% A significant impact: This shows a lack of judgment by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Conservatives, as Harper appointed Duffy to the Senate.
