Editor: According to the latest statistics, there are 2.2 billion children in the world. One billion of them are living in poverty and 22,000 die each day due to poverty.  Some 27-28 per cent of all children in developing countries are estimates to be underweight or stunted.

More than 1.8 million children in developing countries die each year from diarrhea alone.  About 72 million children of primary age in the developing world are not in school. These are just a few of the statistics which tell a grim story for so many children.

I would suggest to those people, so anxious to foist their own ideas/morals regarding abortion onto the world, that they spend even a fraction of the time and money they give to their cause to help the children who are already here. It would be far more helpful than trying to force others to bring unwanted children into the world.

I am a Global UNICEF parent. I donate monthly to try in some small way to help the children of the world living in deplorable conditions. I challenge the ant-abortionists to do the same.
