Queen Elizabeth deserved better

Editor: While looking for news on the computer, particularly of Prince Charles and Camilla, I came across a performance by a comedienne named Wade Lynch. He was attempting to impersonate the queen.

I purposely say “attempting,” as indeed it was so far removed from the person of Queen Elizabeth II that it was indistinguishable. No doubt you will be receiving many negative comments about the performance.

I simply could not believe that anyone could be so extremely insensitive as to their particular audience. These words came immediately to mind — distasteful, disgraceful, and disgusting — even to the performer.

Does he have absolutely no sense of embarrassment or shame at all? I cringed as he ‘performed” and I don’t profess to be a supersensitive person. He certainly has no respect for character, and what an exemplary character the real queen possesses. I’m afraid that “Mr.” Lynch has chosen the wrong ‘career’.
