Editor: For about the past week all we saw on TV weather reports was warnings about the coming weather bomb for Wednesday, March 26, so Islanders were asked to stay off the roads. The RCMP reinforced the warnings to stay home during the storm but people went out anyway and caused accidents and got stranded in snowdrifts.

One wonders how many slow Islanders we have because this happens every time we have storms. For me, I wouldn’t risk my life to rescue any of them because most will do it again because we have some slow learners on P.E.I. who believe they are bullet proof and can handle anything.
