Editor: What has happened to the famous P.E.I. potato?

A few years ago local store-bought potatoes were well graded, tasty and a good healthy addition to any meal. But times have changed. The last few bags purchased from our local stores consist of misshapen potatoes, some often weighing a pound, with other four ounce specimens, all of which are quite tasteless. So what's the answer and don't tell me I've just struck a bad batch.
