Many retail outlets will not chase shop lifters because nothing in the store is worth getting shot or stabbed for.

Why is every time we hear of a loss prevention officer getting assaulted its at a Canadian tire? Is it possibly the way their officers are handling the situations?

yes it is. the guy working there is a goon. Saw him with all his weight on top of some kid there one day on the sidewalk. pretty sure he could have picked him up and took him inside instead of the "big show"
