Charlottetown police arrested a 29-year-old man yesterday after receiving a call about a gas station robbery.

The police received the call at 6:32 p.m. about a robbery at the Petro Canada on University Avenue.

They arrested the Charlottetown area man who is facing a robbery charge.

He was jailed at the Provincial Correctional Centre and will appear in court at a later date.

    can anyone explain to me why a 29 yr old is being kept in jail from the way i read it. but yet a guy with drugs,a loaded gun etc is out free?? something is strange ..
