SUMMERSIDE — A Moncton man faces several charges including failing to provide a breath sample after an incident recently in Summerside.

City police stopped a vehicle on Central Street that had been travelling at a high rate of speed on Pope Road.

As a result of the traffic stop, the 19-year-old man, who failed a sobriety test, was arrested and charged with failing to provide breath samples to police.

He was served a 24-hour driving suspension and a 90-day prohibition order.

He will appear in Summerside provincial court at a later date.
