Natalie MacMaster, Barra MacNeils launch Charlottetown concert series

Acclaimed Cape Breton fiddler Natalie MacMaster kicks off a set of tunes during her concert at the P.E.I. 2014 Celebration Zone Friday night.

The concert, which also featured The Barra MacNeils, is the first of several major free concerts scheduled for the zone at Confederation Landing Park this summer.

      If PEI wasn't a province, but rather a regional municipality within a larger province, we wouldn't need to worry about compensation for deputy ministers. What this article doesn't address is the very fact that PEI is drastically over-governed and it starts with provincial status - a historic quirk that needs to be revisited by the federal government.

    Great entertainment! Both groups are great performers . Where they dug up the MacCormick guy is another question.
