Islanders can breathe a collective sigh of relief knowing that gas prices stayed put this weekend.

There was no change in gasoline, oil, diesel and propane prices during the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission’s scheduled price adjustment on Sunday.

Pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will continue to range from 138.6 to 139.8 cents per litre.

The maximum price for furnace oil will continue to be 106.8 cents per litre plus tax.

The commission's next scheduled price adjustment is on July 1, 2014.

Breathe a sigh of relief? Gas prices are still way too high! Make it sound like the government is doing us a favor. Unbelievable.
