Don is right... and it is not a dangerous intersection. It is so safe that it takes 2 people not paying attention to cause a collision there.

What I've noticed about Islander drivers is the lack of turn signals and that many vehicles don't have day time running lights. Also stop signs seems to be a suggestion rather than what they are meant to be.

I agree completely! I worked on the roads for a few years and I tell ya, I saw it all. I believe that most people here got their license from a Cracker Jack box!

What ever happened to drivers paying attention ??? It's not a faulty intersection---it's the drivers !!!! They are not " accidents" --- one driver was at fault !!! and should be held accountable.

and most are in a hurry as they have to get there fix either coffee, drugs, etc. and most drivers i agree with you they do not know how to drive. love to see a few of them drive on big roads like the 401, or in boston, new york.

they will put in another roundabout. that way they do not have to use there brain as you know this government is not known to have any.

Not sure how putting in a roundabout is not using your brain.

How ironic that don would accuse someone of not using their brain. His knee jerk reactions to EVERY political story in the Guardian make him look like a clown and prove he is not credible on any issue. I can't believe people here are still anti-roundabout. Either grow up and join us in the 21st century or just shut up and go away.

simple they already have the drawings so they do not have to sit down and figure out how to make one.

but they do have to sit down and figure out how to make an intersection with traffic lights???

Funny how you all don't know what happened. It doesn't even show a picture of the car the truck t boned or the victim that emts took 40 minutes to stabalize and get out. The car was turning left - how fast do you think it was going compared to the truck in the oncoming straight lane??? Not fast. The car spun three or four times. Drivers need to be more catious. They swerved and the truck swerved the same way right at them. No skid marks from the truck. The two were heading to work. 25 minutes early mind you - not in a rush. Please your head out of your asses and at some point try to act like it happened to you. Then what would you be saying?

How many more accidents ...How many people are gonna get killed before Robert Vessey changes the left turn lights on the Bypass...Have it like Florida...You have a left turn for thirty seconds then Left turn light turns Red until next Left turn Green light...This way no cars can cut in front of on coming traffic that they can't see...A very simple solution to a very dangerous design.

Or just learn how to drive you don't pull out in front of a on comming ca just cause you have a green light doesn't give you the right to turn left in front of a car comming straight little thing called drivers ed 101 give your head a shake.

When will this gov learn. Most dangerous intersection on PEI needs to be over underpass.

Also one at the lights at Sobey's in Stratford around noon. Red light means nothing to some drivers who seem to think it's a cue to! Should be charges laid! Need some more police on our highways. Island drivers show very little common sense!

many are not drivers -- they are just aimers holding on to an aiming wheel watch them , they even lean to the side in their seat as they aim around a corner

Three most dangerous intersections on P.E.I. . The intersections there , Mount Edward Road and up by the KFC. They have been dangerous for years and nothing done about it . Come on Robert Vessey you outlawed left hand vehicles now do something real and stop been a clown.
